East Wrestling Takes Second At Kings Park Tourney

Arrows go 3-1, downed by powerful St. Anthony's in championship round.

The Sachem East wrestling team placed second Saturday at the Kings Park Classic, a tournament the program has competed in since its inception seven years ago.

The Arrows (8-4) have made it to the finals every year, including this weekend, winning their pool and defeating Newfield, 55-15, Miller Place, 63-9, and host Kings Park, 37-36.

Finishing first in their pool, Sachem advanced to the finals where they lost to Catholic school power St. Anthony's, 48-24.
