Hear something different on 91.9 FM lately? You're not just hearing strange new things.
Sachem High School Radio has undergone a format change. From now on, it will be known as "91.9 The Arrow," breaking the mold of 91.9 WSHR, which has existed since 1971.
Though the station will still use the call letters WSHR and is located at 91.9 on the dial, it will be known as "The Arrow" from now on and will no longer feature jazz music.

The station, which was created in 1967, was originally located at 89.7 on the dial, but switched to 91.9 in 1971.
