Traffic Advisory: March 27 for Suffolk Half Marathon
Nicolls Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at certain portions.
The annual Suffolk County Half Marathon and 5k Run will be held on Sunday, March 27 and the Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct will be working to help ensure participants, volunteers and supporters have a safe and enjoyable day.
Nicholls Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. between the Long Island Expressway in Holtsville and Mark Tree Road in Centereach.
Motorists are advised to find alternate routes and should make every effort to avoid this area.
