Sachem East running back and recent Hansen Trophy winner Steven Casali was making the media rounds this week, as he appeared on one television show, and one radio show.
This past Thursday he spent some time on Greg Sarra's "Airing It Out” on MSG Varsity. Later that day he sat down in the front of the mic on the "Sachem News Hour," which airs on Sachem Radio 91.9-FM.
Casali spoke about his historic high school career, winning the coveted Hansen Award and the comeraderie and love he has for his teammates.
"Honestly I felt better when my teammates had a great play," Casali told Sarra on "Airing it Out." "Like Ryan Dippel, when he made that catch in triple coverage to win the game for us. I don't care if I do well; I just care if we win or lose and I just love to win."
