Share Your Pictures: 'We Are Sachem' Rally

This past weekend thousands of Sachem residents poured into the auditorium and gymnasium at Sachem High School North to participate in the "We Are Sachem" rally.

The event, organized in part by PTA members and the Sachem Legislative Committee, provided an opportunity for Sachem Schools to show the work it does with its students at all grade levels.

The gymnasium was packed for speeches and presentations from such dignitaries as Superintendent James Nolan, Legislative Committee Co-Chair Dana Platin and Sachem's Communications Director and Sachem alum Chris Vaccaro.

With demonstrations from the robotics team and the cheerleading and dance squads, the flash bulbs were popping.
