SEPTA Community Ed Night Scheduled for Oct. 24
Event organizers still looking for organizations to get involved.
SEPTA will be hosting a community education night on October 24 to let parent's with special needs children in our community know what is available for them.
The folks running the event would like to have more organization's participate, and create chatter to increase attendance that night.
A general meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in the administrative annex at Samoset Middle School in Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y., and the "Resource Fair" will begin at 8 p.m.

They are still looking for any group, company, sports location that provides dedicated events for kids with special needs. Anyone interested in participating in the night as a resource for parents can email momx49799@yahoo.com.
