A group of Sachem students from Gatelot Avenue Elementary School, Samoset Middle School and Sachem High School North helped plant, mulch and weed flowerbeds at Samoset Middle School in Lake Ronkonkoma Sunday morning.
PTSA president Dorothy Stallone said in an announcement from the school district that the students are looking forward to the fall where they will be decorating the outside grounds.
Mulch was donated to the school from Hallock Farms on Hawkins Avenue.
