Sachem Sports Club Warriors Finish Perfect Season

Victory over Nassau County's Inwood squad makes it back-to-back undefeated seasons for the 12-year-old travel team.

The 12-year-old travel Warriors of the Sachem Sports Club completed their second consecutive perfect season earlier this week with a win over the Nassau County Inwood All-Stars.

The victory is the last for this group of kids, who will now go their separate ways to play for their respective Sachem middle schools.

"These are boys with immense talent, as anyone that has been to one of their games will attest to," Dawn Hart, a Warrior parent stated in an email. "They are the future athletes of the Sachem Community. And more than one will leave their mark in this district."

The team was led by coaches Dennis Wandle, Dan Sheehy, Kyle Laube and Bill Morrissey, who guided the young athletes through a full season schedule of perfection.

"Their sportsmanship, integrity, respect for the game and pure talent has brought them the well deserved championships and respect of all Long Island youth football teams," Hart stated. Pictured above are the Warriors after their final game.
