Sachem Schools Relaunches 'The Scene' As e-Newsletter

District's PR Director takes the periodical into cyberspace with news and updates from around the district.

The Sachem School District has relaunched an online version of its dormant print newsletter "The Scene." Now in digital-only format, the newletter is back, with some added adjustments and a new look, according to Sachem's PR Director Chris Vaccaro.

"It's completely digital now as opposed to being printed each month in the past," stated Vaccaro in an email. "I took it over, made it into more of a magazine feel than a newsletter and will be expanding it each month with fresh and original content and updates for the community," he added. Vaccaro will ostensibly be the Editor-In-Chief of "The Scene."

The newsletter's print version folded last March, according to Vaccaro, but the new PDF version will feature the same up-to-date information, news, event awareness, and highlights as the old version. Anyone interested in sending potential news, events or updates can email Vaccaro directly at cvaccaro@sachem.edu.

If you prefer to have a printed version with your morning coffee, you can print the PDF at home: just remember to set your printer settings to "landscape."
