Sachem Program Day, Breast Cancer Event Gets New Date
After postponing due to after-effects of the blizzard, the new date has been set for girls basketball program.
The Sachem girls basketball Program Day and breast cancer fundraiser has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 16 at Sachem East High School.
Two middle school games will be featured; one at 11 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m. All baskets and raffle prizes will still be given out as planned.
The event was originally slated to take place February 9. It was moved to February 10 because of the coming blizzard, and then cancelled outright when road conditions continued to plague the community.
