The Festival of Trees and Lights showcases decorations designed and created by student clubs and organizations, such as trees, wreathes, gingerbread houses and garlands.

The event is student driven and will raise money for student groups, student scholarships and local charities, such as the Sachem North Food Pantry, the Cleary School for the Deaf, the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation and Strike Out Diabetes. This year, funds will also be donated to victims of Superstorm Sandy and the Sachem community.
