Sachem North Football To Be Honored at BOE
Facilities study committee presentation rescheduled to Feb. 5.
Sachem North's varsity football team is being honored during Wednesday's Sachem Board of Education meeting at Samoset Middle School, 51 School St. in Lake Ronkonkoma, at 7:30 p.m. in the BOE meeting room.
The team has come off of their Long Island championship season following their victory over Farmingdale.
The team's recognition was originally slated for the Jan. 22 meeting, but was rescheduled due to last week's snow storm.
The district's facilities study committee presentation, also originally scheduled to present on Jan. 22, is rescheduled to the Feb. 5 meeting. That meeting will also take place at Samoset, but in the auditorium.
