Sachem North Cheerleaders Wrap Up Summer Cheer Camp

Elite camp held in Pennsylvania featured four national championship teams.

The Sachem North JV and varsity cheerleading squads recently wrapped up their summer cheer camp experiences with a new host of awards and a solid warm-up for the upcoming school season.

The girls attended the camp from August 18-21, located at Trails End in Honesdale, Penn. The camp invited 35 teams, four of which, including Sachem North, were reigning national champions.

The girls competed in routines throughout the week, and received 2nd place in Cheer; 1st place in Extreme Routine, according to Sachem North Coach Nicole Roggemann. Samantha Bozza and Brianna Napolitano received Pin it Forward awards, a recognition reserved for cheerleaders who go above and beyond for their teammates and members of other teams.
