Sachem Marching Band To Perform at Both Homecomings

Band falls short at Brentwood High School, will play at North and East before next competition.

The Sachem Flaming Arrows Marching Band will be putting on its full show at both the Sachem North and Sachem East Homecoming games this coming weekend.

The band will first be at Sachem North on Friday night as the Flaming Arrows look to go 3-0 against Patchogue-Medford. The following evening the band will play at Sachem East, where the varsity squad will try to improve to 2-1 against Commack.

Last weekend the band opened up its competive season against five bands at Brentwood High School. The band placed third, missing second place by just a single point, according to Band Director George Macchio. Its next competition will take place at Copiague High School.
