Sachem East To Host Screening of 'Bully'

Peer Educators will hold open screening of telling documentary on April 5.

The Sachem East Peer Educators are hosting a community screening of the Lee Hirsch documentary "Bully" on April 5 at 6:30 p.m., according to a release from The Sachem Report.  

The event is free and open to all members of the Sachem community as a way to open lines of communication about the devestating effects of school bullying.

“Bully” chronicles the harrowing ordeals of several bullied young people and how it impacts their families. The documentary opens a window into the awful struggles of people victimized by bullying.

At the end of the screening, Peer Educators will lead a talk-back session with the audience. A trailer for the film is embedded in the photo gallery.
