Sachem East Swimming/Diving to Host "Relays for a Reason"

Event will help raise money, support for Special Olympics.

The Sachem East varsity swimming and diving teams will host “Relays for a Reason” on Saturday, February 11 at the high school pool beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The girls and boys swimming and diving teams will compete against each other to help support Special Olympics.

There is a $3 admission fee and refreshments will be sold. All money raised goes directly to the Special Olympics New York organization.

“Relays for a Reason” is a unique, experience of swimming relays and competing in fun, wacky swim events such as: Doggie Paddle Relay,Corkscrew Relay, Equipment/Kickboard Relay, All-Senior Relay, Divers’ Biggest Splash and Cannonball contests, 50 Freestyle and Stroke Races, Freestyle/Medley Relays, 25 Backstroke Event and 25 Underwater Event.
