Sachem East Launches Newspaper Website

With no printed version, students took to the web.

Since the budget for the student newspaper at Sachem East was cut this year, journalism students took to the web this month.

They created a digital version of Eastside View through Wordpress. Check it out here.

"We will be relating events in the Sachem East community on this page very soon," editor Christina Perri wrote in her initial post. "As we are still learning how to manage an online format, updates may take a little time at the start, but we are looking to have the facts to you as soon as possible."

So far through the first month they've shown diversity in their posts with coverage of Sachem East football and the school's drama production of Voices from the High School.
