Sachem East Boys LAX Drop Opener to Bayport-Blue Point
After leading at halftime, boys lacrosse team comes up short down the stretch.
The Sachem East Boy's Lacrosse team dropped its season opener on Wednesday, losing to Bayport-Blue Point 12-9, according to Head Coach Robert Murphy.
The Flaming Arrows got off to a good start, leading 3-2 after the first quarter and taking a 7-6 lead into the half. But they were only able to muster two more goals in the second half, while allowing BBP to score another six goals in the final two frames. Tied at 9 after the third quarter, BBP pulled ahead in the fourth for the 12-9 victory.
