Sachem Admins Earn Tenure From BOE
District administrators have tenure appointments approved at last week's Board of Education meeting.
In addition to its budget discussions and the presentation of a list of budget scenarios from Associate Superintendent Bruce Singer, the Sachem Board of Education signed off on a number of tenure appointments for key administrators within the district.
At last week's board meeting held in the Samoset auditorium, the Board of Education approved tenure for the following Sachem employees:
- Pete Blieberg: Director of Athletics, Health and Physical Education
- Kristin Capel-Eden: Administrator for personnel
- Andrew Larson: Assistant Principal at Sachem East
- Michael Saidens: Elementary Principal at Tamarac
The next BOE meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at Samoset Middle School in the auditorium. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
