Sachem North will unveil its Sept. 11 monument at a ceremony at the high school Friday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m.
The monument, which includes a piece of steel from the World Trade Center, sits in front of the school on Smith Road in Lake Ronkonkoma.
It was designed and developed through the Freshman Legacy Project for the Class of 2014.
