Last Friday Sachem High School North held its Homecoming game and celebration. Hundreds of Sachem-area residents turned out for the fanfare, which included an extended halftime show of the Arrowettes, the Cheerleaders and the Sachem Marching Band. Fireworks concluded the evening after Sachem North wrapped up its decisive 51-14 win over the Raiders.

Tyler Andreassi opened up the scoring with a 7-yard rushing touchdown. Quarterback Trent Crossan had two rushing touchdowns of his own. Kevin Lathan rushed for one touchdown and caught a second TD from backup QB Mike O'Donnell after Crossan sat out the second half with a tweaked hamstring. Kevin Bragaglia sealed the scoring for Sachem with a 56-yard run down the sideline. Bragaglia also had an interception in the game. The Flaming Arrows defense forced four turnovers and recorded 5 sacks on the night.
