PerksCard Network Renews with SCTA

Provides teachers union with discount cards.

PerksCard recently announce that it has renewed the Sachem Central Teachers Association (SCTA) as a client.

SCTA will continue to give its 2,000 employees in the Sachem area PerksCards, providing them with savings on products and services they use, according to PerksCard.

“We are very excited to renew this PerksCard program and continue to build up the merchants that will be part of it,” said Bob Dow, President of PerksGroup in a statement. “This is truly a great solution for Sachem Central Teachers Association and Ronkonkoma, N.Y. merchants alike.

“The Sachem Central Teachers Association Employees will continue to receive valuable savings on a myriad of products and services they use daily, and participating merchants will benefit from increased traffic and sales, marketing capabilities, and a way to promote special offers.”

Founded in 1988, PerksCard Network is an employee benefit savings program that human resources and benefits departments, associations and other organizations can offer to their employees and members.

This program allows employees to save money on everyday purchases and things like pizza, lunch, auto repairs and day care, among other services.

Other teachers associations on Long Island using the service are Commack, Patchogue-Medford Congress of Teachers, Middle Island, Bay Shore, Islip, Brentwood, Southampton, East Hampton and Lynbrook.
