Notes On Today's Game

Sachem High School East takes on William Floyd in Suffolk County Championship for first time in history.

For those of you interested in today's Suffolk County Championship game between Sachem East and William Floyd, here are some notes and pointers.

Game Time: 11 a.m.

Place: Kenneth Lavalle Stadium, Stony Brook University

A virtual map of the campus is located here, so you can pinpoint the stadium's location and get there on time.

Tickets: Tickets are available at will call only, and ticket sales are being handled by Section XI, the governing body for Suffolk high school sports. Tickets are listed on its site at $6. First come, first serve.

Parking: Parking is available directly in front of the stadium, which has a capacity of more than 8,000 fans, but it might be a good idea to carpool to ensure a close spot.

Weather: According to Cablevision's Metro Traffic & Weather, it's going to be partly cloudy with wind gusts and highs are only in the low 40's. Slim possibility of flurries. Bundle up and bring extra clothes for the stands.

Game Coverage: MSG Varsity will be on hand to cover the game, which can be live-streamed on its website. The game will actually air on Channel 14 on Tuesday, November 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Patch Coverage: Patch will be on the sidelines covering the game, and will be live-blogging updates of the score and major highlights on Twitter and Facebook. Click those links to follow us or like our page to get updates during the game.
