Notes On Today's 2-Hour Delay At Sachem
As school is set to reopen, some important things to keep in mind.
The Sachem School District is back in session today with a 2-hour delay after being closed Monday and Tuesday in the aftermath of last weekend's blizzard.
The school is opening despite concerns from the residents that some of the streets remain impassable for buses. To that end, the district has offered a phone number to call if a school bus does not arrive as scheduled.

Other notes to keep in mind this morning:
- The previously scheduled Universal Pre-K meeting in Sachem will be
rescheduled. - There is no morning care on Wednesday.
- Seneca’s field trip to see “Phantom of the Opera” is still on. If you are
attending that field trip, please be at the school at 8:00 a.m. Seneca Principal Gemma Salvia will be in touch with all attendees. - The Section XI wrestling tournament is still going on as scheduled. The championship round is being held at Walt Whitman High School on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
