North's Danny Urbanski Scores A Headline With Buzzer-Beater

Sachem North edges Commack in the final seconds of Urbanski's dramatic three-pointer.

Sachem North Boys Basketball player Danny Urbanski got to live every kid's sports moment dream last night, when he drove the length of the court in a League game against Commack, and with six ticks left, down by two, launched a three pointer for the win.

The North Flaming Arrows used the buzzer to beat Commack 60-59, according to Newsday, and improve to 3-8 in league play. Urbanski's dramatics scored him the top spot in Newsday's sports wrap, which included his hefty numbers on the night. Urbanski had 29 points in the win, 19 of them coming in the fourth quarter.

Sachem North travels to William Floyd on Saturday, February 2 for a rematch of their dramatic victory at home back on January 8. The game starts at 5:45 p.m.
