The new issue of The Scene, the official publication of the Sachem School District, is now available.
Available on line, the issue features information about the proposed school budget, which will be put before voters on Tuesday, May 21. Outlined are the budget-to-budget increases, reductions needed to help keep the tax increase lower that originally forecasted and what programs have been restored in the proposed spending plan.
Also included in the issue is a story on the Sachem School District’s effort in raising some $45,000 for St. Baldrick’s, and a visit by NBA Star Tobias Harris to Sachem.
