Maria Michta Competes At Millrose Games
Sachem alum puts on racewalking clinic with decisive victory, as current Sachem athletes shine as well.
Last Saturday Sachem Girls Track and Field competed in the Millrose Games at the Armory in New York City. For current Sachem athletes the event featured a number of successes including the school record sprint feat put on by North's Melissa Michels. A complete wrap-up of the meet is available here.
Perhaps one of the highlights was the appearance of Olympian Racewalker and Sachem alum Maria Michta, who competed at Millrose as well. The Olympian took first place in her event.
