Goalie Of The Year: Chelsea Palma
Sachem North Field Hockey goalkeeper recognized by Sachem Board of Education for stellar season.
The Board of Education recognized Chelsea Palma, the Sachem North Field Hockey goalie, for being selected as MSG Varsity's "Goalie of the Year" in 2012.
The senior goalie racked up incredible numbers this season, with 193 saves, three shutouts and a .888 save percentage, according to The Sachem Report, which featured Palma when MSG Varsity first released the award.
Palma received a certificate at the January 2 meeting for her accomplishments.
