The Sachem community is once again rallying around a local family in need.
A fundraiser will be held on Saturday at the Bohemia Applebee's for the Mosca family.
Here's some details on the Moscas (find more in the letter attached to this article):
Todd and Darlene Mosca, both Sachem High School alumni, have three daughters. Breece is in the 10th grade at Sachem North High School. Brookelle is in 8th grade at Seneca Middle School and Brenna is in 4th grade at Grundy Avenue Elementary.
Their family has been overcome by misfortunes resulting in financial hardship due to overwhelming medical bills.
Saturday's fundraiser, to run from 8-10 a.m. will include a pancake breakfast, car wash, and clothing drive at the Applebee's, located at Veterans Highway and Lakeland Avenue. There will also be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle.
