Astrophysicist Kevin Manning will explain how to choose a telescope wisely at Sachem Public Library from on September 7 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Manning will introduce telescope types, function, performance and accessories. He will also provide instructions for building your own telescope, using illustrations and photographs to guide you through the process. Following the presentation, weather permitting, a powerful telescope will be set up outdoors for viewing the Moon, the rings of Saturn and other beautiful objects in the night sky.
