East Field Hockey Player Trombetta Returns From Amsterdam

Katie Trombetta, the junior field hockey star for Sachem East, is back stateside after a seven-day tour of Amsterdam with the Under-17 Junior National Field Hockey team.

Playing as a representative for the U.S., her team competed against a number of Under-18 teams from other parts of the world, including Holland and South Africa.

According to The Sachem Report, The U.S. team went 2-1-1 in the tournament.

Trombetta, who has verbally committed to play at the University of Michigan, will be working out with members of the U.S. team at Rutgers and Princeton this spring. She'll be trying out for the U-19 National team this summer.
