East Field Hockey Athletes Named Academic All-Americans
National Field Hockey Coaches Association bestows honor upon six Sachem East players.
Six athletes on the Sachem East Field Hockey team were selected as National Academic Squad Academic All-Americans, according to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The following student-athletes were honored:
- Stephanie Bagely
- Kimberly Fazio
- Jennifer Gazdick
- Kayla McKeveny
- Jacqueline Montague
- Karyn Ryan
The National Academic Squad program recognizes high school seniors who earned an unweighted GPA of at least 3.5 (or the equivalent) through the first quarter of the 2012-13 school year, according to the NFHCA website.
