Sachem East alum Brandon Lewis David earned the rank of Eagle Scout recently. He celebrated the honor with his family and friends at his Eagle Scout of Honor Ceremony.
David is a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 9 of Ronkonkoma, and completed all the requirements for the Eagle Scout Board of Review. His project was dedicated to the Lynwood Avenue Elementary School in Farmingville, where he, along with a group of Scouts, constructed two seating areas with raised planters for the students, parents and faculty of the school. He was responsible for the planning, fundraising and organizing of this project.
“I am truly proud of all the hard work Brandon has put in over the years,” said Suffolk County Legis. Tom Muratore. “He is truly a shining example for today’s youth, proving that years of perseverance and determination can pay off.”

David is a graduate of Sachem East High School from the Class of 2011 with an Advanced Regents Diploma.
