Clash Of The Titans: Sachem East Field Hockey Defeats Garden City
Trombetta sisters combine for 1-0 victory over toughest program in Nassau County.
Earlier today the Sachem East Flaming Arrows Field Hockey team preserved their undefeated season with a thrilling 1-0 win over the Garden City Trojans.
The lone goal came off the stick of Cara Trombetta, who redirected a shot from her big sister Katie Trombetta, according to The Sachem Report. Garden City had entered the game fresh from beating Ward Melville 2-1, but were handed their first loss of the season by Sachem East.
East, who also defeated Ward Melville by the same score last week, will hit the road this week with games at Newfield and Smithtown East.
