Both Sachem Football Games To Be Aired On MSG Varsity

Sachem North's home game against Floyd, and Sachem East's matchup at Connetquot will hit the airwaves at different dates.

The Division I varsity football playoffs have narrowed down to just four teams competing in the semi-finals this weekend, and Sachem schools has the honor of making up half the remaining teams.

Sachem North, coming off its decisive victory over Bay Shore, will be at Fred Fusaro Stadium on Friday night against the defending Long Island Champion William Floyd Colonials. Sachem East, after beating Northport on the road, will stay on the road for a matchup on Saturday against Connetquot.

Now, the Cablevision network MSG Varsity will have its cameras rolling at both games, it has announced. The station will live-broadcast the Sachem North game on Friday, while cameras will record the action and delay-tape the Sachem East game on Saturday.
