Sachem North class of ‘09 alumni Jon Bellion is on the verge of succeeding in the music industry. Jon is currently signed with Visionary Music Group (VMG), an independent recorded label, and has recently released a mix tape called Translation Through Speakers.     After the release of New York Soul, VMG posted a tweet saying “Tomorrow is a huge day for @jonbellion too. It's so exciting to see this about to happen.” This tweet was posted on October 27, 2013 which lead to everyone thinking “what’s going to happen?”

On Monday October 28, 2013 we found out the big news. In the release of the new Eminem song featuring Rihanna “The Monster.” As the song was released Jon posted on his fan Facebook page saying “Very happy to announce that I wrote the hook for Eminem's #TheMonster ft.     Jon ended up writing the hook for the new Eminem single. The single was released on iTunes at midnight Monday. When Jon was asked how he felt about his lyrics being in an Eminem song his response as he was smiling was “I don’t really know what I am doing still,” while laughing.

The single is available on iTunes for $1.29 and also available to listen to at https://soundcloud.com/shadyrecords/themonster. We wish Jon the best of luck in his future endeavors!
