Town of Islip Seeking Storm Damage Information

Looking for residents to supply associated costs from damage.

The Town of Islip is seeking information on the damage that occurred as a result of the heavy rains and flash flooding from this past weekend, according to a release from the town.

The town is urging residents to supply the associated costs from the damage, which will be used for possible individual and public assistance from the United States government.

According to the town, while there are no guarantees that such funding will be made available, prompt and accurate initial reporting is crucial in offsetting local costs.
