Town of Brookhaven Hosts Annual Menorah Lighting

Farmingville lobby got a lot more festive after ceremony featured lighting and magic show.

Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville illuminated its lobby this past week in celebration of Hanukkah with a ceremonial lighting of the menorah. Supervisor Edward Romaine was joined by Rabbi Mendy Goldberg of Lubavitch of the East End and Detective Sanford Shulder of the Suffolk Police Department, who lit the third candle, symbolizing the third day of Hanukkah.

After the lighting, guests at the event were treated to refreshments and a magic show. Pictured here is Supervisor Romaine with Rabbi Goldberg and Detective Shulder.
