Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer William J. Lindsay recently conducted the swearing-in ceremony of Holbrook Chamber of Commerce Directors Ken SanPedro, Bea Hoffer, Joe Storzinger, Debbie O’Rourke and Treasurer Fred Coste.
Throughout the year Lindsay often works alongside the Holbrook Chamber, occassionally checking in on the group at general meetings.
“A large part of the Chamber’s success is due to the partnership between us and Legislator Lindsay," Holbrook Chamber President Rick Ammirati stated in a release. "I want to thank Bill for always doing what’s right for Holbrook residents and the local business community.”
“I want to thank the officers and membership of the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce for their continued commitment and dedication to Holbrook, and I look forward to continuing our work together,” Presiding Officer Lindsay stated. “I am proud to call them my friends and fellow community leaders.”
The Holbrook Chamber in early 2013 will be involved in monitoring the progress of the Ronkonkoma HUB project, and TD Bank's proposal to move into the Waldbaum's center on Union Avenue.
