Sachem Student Reps Meet with Tim Bishop
Congressman hosts 17 student leaders at conference at Longwood.
Two Sachem representatives were among the 17 high school students who attended a meeting with Rep. Tim Bishop, D-Southampton, last week at Longwood High School.
The student leaders engaged in a discussion on various topics from the federal budget to Occupy Wall Street and the future of the United States in relation to the 2012 presidential election.
Representing Sachem were Andrea Nandoo (East) and Serena Altes (North).

Students were nominated by their high school based on leadership, academics and interest in government and politics, according to Bishop's office.
