The large size of the Sachem area leads to several different elections to touch the boundaries of Farmingville, Holbrook, Holtsville, Ronkonkoma, Lake Ronkonkoma, Medford and Nesconset.

What was actual voter turnout? How many registered v. how many voted? Curious to see how low it was. Always sad when a minority of the population elect those who will make decisions for the majority of us. Pure laziness.

Brian, Most of the stories include the number of votes received so that should give you an idea. Hope that helps.

No, number of votes alone does not help. How many could actual vote? How many registered v. voted. It used to be listed like this on the suffolk cty boe site (see the line right above each table) http://apps.suffolkcountyny.gov/boe/eleres/10ge/
