PSA: No Recycling Collection Wednesday
Brookhaven Town is rescheduling recyclable pick up for Saturday.
Sachem residents should note in their calendars that recyclables will not be picked up on Wednesday due to the Fourth of July holiday, issued Brookhaven Town's Department of Waste Management.
Instead, pick up will take place on Saturday, with normal recycling to continue on July 11.

A Message from the Town of Brookhaven'sDepartment of Waste Management:
Due to this year's Fourth of July holiday, there will be no collection of recyclables this coming Wednesday, July 4, 2012. In place of the regularly scheduled pick-up, Recycling Collection Day for this week has been moved to Saturday, July 7th. The normal recycling schedule of alternating Wednesdays (Curby Can/Paper) will resume next week, Wednesday, July 11th.
