LIPA outage map shows sporadic outages, still adding up in the thousands.
The above is a screen grab of LIPA's most recent outage update, as of 12:45 p.m. The map shows, according to the legend, multiple outages spread throughout the Sachem community, with only a few pink colored triangles, signaling as many as 500 customers without power.
