Lesko Meets with Local Boy Scout Troop

Answered questions about town government with kids.

Late last month, Supervisor Mark Lesko met at Brookhaven Town Hall with Boy Scout Troop 294 from Farmingville for a question and answer session.

The scouts, who were joined by their Assistant Scout Masters and parents asked Supervisor Lesko a wide range of questions including, “What is the biggest issue facing the town?” and “What is the best part of your job as Supervisor?” They visited the Supervisor to meet the requirement necessary to earn their Citizenship in the Community merit badges.

“Boy Scouts are the leaders of tomorrow and from what I can see from this group of youngsters, the future is in good hands,” said Lesko, in a statement, “they asked very good questions and shared some of their own thoughts about how we can improve the way government is run.”
