Legis. Muratore Recognizes Sachem North Cheerleaders

Legislator Tom Muratore, R-Ronkonkoma, recently acknowledged the Sachem North High School’s varsity cheerleaders on their achievement of winning a 2012 national .

Coaches Nicole Roggemann and Christine Sturges brought the team to victory beating out 41 teams from 33 states throughout the nation. This was the Flaming Arrows” first national championship in medium-varsity Division 1.  The High School Cheerleading UCA Nationals was held at the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando, Florida. 

“What a great accomplishment for the Sachem North varsity cheerleaders,” Muratore said. “These cheerleaders show such great promise; working so hard to win the nation’s most prestigious cheerleading competition.”
