Leg. Muratore Seeking Nominations For 'Woman of Distinction'

Representative of LD 4 asking for the public's help nominating a woman from the district for award ceremony in March.

Suffolk County Legislator Tom Muratore is asking for the community's help in identifying a woman that lives in the 4th district for the legislature's "Woman of Distinction" Award.

Each legislator in the 18 districts will nominate one woman in their district for the award. After the pool has been narrowed to 18, the Suffolk County Women's Advisory Commission will choose one nominee to receive the award at a general meeting held on March 13.

“I encourage all of my constituents to nominate a candidate for this prestigious award,” Legislator Muratore said in a statement. “There are many deserving women out there, and your input can help us properly acknowledge those who serve so selflessly.”
