Junior Islip KIC Volunteers Collecting Sports Items for Troops
Donations can be dropped off at KIC office until Jan. 31.
Junior Keep Islip Clean commissioners are collecting sports equipment to send over to troops in Afghanistan.
The Sports Equipment Recycling Drive is seeking donations of bats, mitts, baseballs, soccer balls, footballs, lacrosse sticks and other equipment. Clothing, helmets and footware are excluded.
Equipment can be dropped off at the KIC office, 660 Main Street, Islip until Friday, January 31. For more information, call KIC Executive Director Nancy Cochran at 631-224-2627.
