Islip Seeks Nominations for Women's History Celebration

The Town of Islip is accepting nominations for its annual Women’s History Celebration, to be held prior to the March 18 town board meeting, at 7 p.m. in the board room at Islip Town Hall. 

The event recognizes women who live and/or work in the Town of Islip, who have made significant contributions to the community.

Nomination forms are available on the Islip Town website or can be mailed directly by calling 631-224-5310. 

Completed forms must include a brief biography, resume and letters of recommendation that must be attached to the nomination form and mailed to the Department of Parks & Recreation, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip, NY 11730, faxed to (631) 224-5316, or e-mailed to jgabriel@townofislip-ny.gov. 

Honorees will be selected based on their accomplishments and contributions to the Town of Islip community. All nominations must be received by February 11.
