Later this month on Tuesday, September 27, the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council will present its Seventh Annual “Building Business In Brookhaven” conference at Town Hall from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The event, which attracted 65 vendors and over 200 participants last year, according to the town, will primarily focus on business networking and will include a trade show with booths featuring dozens of local, regional and national companies that service businesses in Brookhaven Town.
“The backbone of our local economy are the thousands of large and small businesses in Brookhaven Town and we are strongly committed to help them grow and prosper,” said Brookhaven Supervisor Mark Lesko in a statement.
Rep. Tim Bishop will be the keynote speaker of the event.
"A top priority of my office is encouraging new job creation in Eastern Long Island, and I am proud to support the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council's work to attract companies to Long Island, assist entrepreneurs launching a new businesses, and help existing businesses thrive through networking," Bishop said in a statement. "I appreciate the opportunity to attend the conference and hear the views of local business leaders on how to grow the economy and strengthen our community."
