2011 Senior Citizen Advocates' Schedule Released

Leg. Jack Eddington announces dates for next three months.

Suffolk County Leg. Jack Eddington announced the 2011 Senior Citizen Advocates' schedule for January to March in 2011.

Throughout these three months, Suffolk County Senior Advocates will be stationed at various locations around the county in order to be easily accessed by senior citizens. The advocates will assist seniors with information gathering, completion of eligibility or recertification applications, and referrals to appropriate community agencies.

Below is a list of locations and dates in Eddington's district:

January 2011

  • Jan. 5: Henrietta Acompora Center, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Jan. 10:  Coram Nutrition (at Homestead Community Center), 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Jan. 11:  Patchogue-Medford Public Library, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • Jan. 13:  Patchogue-Bellport Nutrition (at the VFW Hall on N. Dunton Ave), 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Jan. 21:  Avery Village, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
